“Do Your Part. #BeCyberSmart.”

That’s the 2021 theme of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, which is observed in October.

National Cybersecurity Awareness Month (NCSAM) continues to raise awareness about the importance of cybersecurity across our nation, ensuring all Americans have the resources they need to be safer and more secure online. It is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA).

For more information about NCSAM, visit https://www.cisa.gov/national-cyber-security-awareness-month. The website includes tip sheets on how to be “cyber-secure” and weekly themes such as “Be Cyber Smart,” “Fight the Phish!”, “Explore. Experience. Share. – Cybersecurity Career Awareness Week,” “Cybersecurity First.”
